About MLFotos/Mitchell Franklin

MLFotos Photographer Mitchell Franklin got his first camera at age 12 and shortly thereafter began developing black and white film and learning the art of printing black and white images. By 16, he had discovered sports photography, created a business to market sports images, and also began to explore the natural world in color photographs. Today, MLFotos uses both film and the latest in digital imaging technology. Mitchell still develops his own black and white film, but he’s traded in the enlarger for a digital scanner which allows for a much more flexible workflow.

Mitchell is a member of The National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP). He has also been accepted as a member of Sportsshooter.com.
